This ghanese Adinkkrasymbool refer to the importance of community sense.
It means: 2 Crocodiles share together one stomach, but nevertheles they fight for food!
With other words:
" IT IS UNREASONABLE TO FIGHT IF YOU NEED EACH OTHER!"
Because schools do not exist in isolation, but are part of the community, the Foundation also focuses on issues such as access to safe drinking-water, replanting projects and medical aid for school children and their families.
The local communities themselves carry out the actual works, supported by professionals whenever necessary.
