The elementary school in Zeist is taking a special interest in the roof of the new school in Vume.
To finish this roof, 100 aluminium roofing sheets at € 12, 50 a piece will be needed.
As a result of the previously held ‘rainbow fundraiser’ and the Christmas fair, which raised
€ 200, - and € 315, - respectively, and of the Christmas collection, which raised an as yet unknown amount, we will be able to cover a sizable part of the roof.
The computer classroom in Begoro has been put into use.
Under the enthusiastic leadership of headmistress Christiana Amponsah, the parents have raised the money for the electricity connection.
The Presby-A-Primary now is the first school in Begoro providing instruction in computer skills.
The goods that have been collected over the past year is shipped to Ghana.
Once again, the 40-foot container is filled with educational materials, toys, bicycles, tools etc.
Sponsored by Allround Cargo Handling, Slavenburg&Huyser, Firm De Boer.
There is a so-called ‘leerkist’ (i.e. an educational box).
The box will contain materials for schools and for all kinds of presentations: suggestions for lessons, different items from Ghana, and information about the Foundation.
We aim to put together several of these boxes, which will be available on loan.
